The Macvak School Army Cadet Corps is one of the school's proudest traditions. Cadets train in drill, turnout and teamwork and represent the school at district and regional events.
The Corps took part in the Greater Accra Regional Cadet Drill Competition, where their calm and disciplined performance drew praise. Cadets also lead the school at Independence Day parades and on speech and prize-giving day.
Boys' and girls' teams train on the compound and play friendly matches against neighbouring schools.
Sprints, relays and field events, with an annual inter-house athletics competition.
Weekly PE lessons for every class, from movement games in KG to team sports in JHS.
Students are grouped into houses that compete across the year in sport, quiz and drill.
Traditional and modern games at break time keep children active and happy.
We teach children to win humbly, lose gracefully and respect every opponent.
Creative Arts is part of the national curriculum from KG upward, and at Macvak it comes alive through the school choir, drama productions, cultural dance and drumming, and visual art. Students perform at assemblies, PTA meetings and the end of year speech and prize-giving day.
